Domain transfers require verification to ensure only the domain owner can authorize the move. This is done using an Authorization Code, also known as an EPP key, which is issued by your current registrar.

What is an EPP or authorization code

An EPP or authorization code is a unique code generated by your current registrar. It is validated by the domain registry during the transfer process.

Before starting the transfer

• Request the EPP or authorization code from your current registrar.
• Ensure the domain is unlocked at the current registrar.
• Confirm the administrative email address on the domain is accessible.

Start the domain transfer

1. Log in to the client area.
2. Click Domain Availability Checker.
3. Enter your domain name and click Lookup.
4. The system will show the domain as already registered. Click Order and continue.
5. Select Order Domain Registration Only.
6. Choose I want to transfer my domain and verify the domain name.
7. Click Continue.

Complete the transfer order

1. Select the correct domain and continue.
2. Enter the EPP code if required.
3. Select DNS Management (free).
4. Verify the nameservers.
5. Choose your payment method.
6. Confirm you are an existing customer and log in if prompted.
7. Submit the order and complete payment.

After placing the order

Once payment is completed, the transfer request will be submitted to the registry.

• Most generic TLD transfers complete within 5 to 7 days.
• Some transfers may take up to 10 days depending on the domain extension.
• You will receive email notifications as the transfer progresses.
